Verázial ID Server:

Beyond ABIS

Complete ABIS

The definitive ABIS with flat and rolled fingerprint, palmprint, iris, and facial biometrics.

FIDO2 Compatible

Incorporates a FIDO2 identity provider.

Multitenant Model

For multiple environments on a single server.

Microservices Architecture

To offer a secure, scalable, and high-performance service.

The Heart of Verázial ID

Verázial ID Server is our identity server, a system programmed in Kotlin and designed using a microservices architecture to provide a secure, scalable, and high-performance service.

Linux Server

Installed on-premise on a Linux server or virtual machine.

API Gateway

Allows multiple client software to interact with its services through an API Gateway, with Google Remote Procedure Call (gRPC) as well as REST API.

Database

Tiene su propio servidor PostgreSQL, y es compatible con Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.

A complete ABIS / AFIS

Includes a complete ABIS / AFIS (Automatic Biometric / Fingerprint Identification System) with the most advanced biometric algorithms ensuring maximum accuracy, which have passed evaluations by independent organizations such as NIST, IREX IV, MINEX, or FpVTE.

Multibiometric and Multimodal

Biometric technologies for fingerprint (flat and rolled), palmprint, facial, and iris.

Flexible and Scalable

Handles databases of all sizes, from 1,000 people to 100 million.

Interoperable

Operates with major international standards, such as ANSI/INCITS, ANSI/NIST ITL, ISO/IEC 19794.

Very Fast

Identifications in less than 3 secods.

Configurable Biometric Data Location

Depending on the application sector and use case, as well as data protection regulations, it is possible to configure where biometric data should be stored and located

Template on Server

Biometric templates or patterns extracted from biometric samples reside on the server.

Template on Server + image

In addition to the template, the biometric sample image is saved, usually in security applications.

Template on Band

Biometric templates are not saved on the server, but exclusively on the Verázial Band.

Location of Biometric Operations

Depending on the location of the biometric data and the sensor availability, as well as data protection regulations, it is also possible to configure where the biometric operation takes place.

Match on Server

The most common case; identification operations occur on the server.

Match on Device

Templates reside on a Verázial Band, and the biometric operation is not performed on the server, but on an external mobile or stationary device with an iris, fingerprint, or facial sensor.

Match on Band

The template is only on the Verázial Band and never leaves it; the biometric operation occurs inside it using the built-in fingerprint sensor.

Maximum Security

Each microservice within Verázial ID Server communicates with others via gRPC, and integrates a common security module responsible for critical functions such as authentication, encryption, and access control, ensuring all interactions are secure and reliable.

Authorized Access Only

As each microservice authenticates itself for every operation using a JSON Web Token (JWT).

Role-Based Control

The security module implements role-based access control (RBAC).

Encryption

Incorporates advanced cryptographic algorithms based on “AES” and “BCrypt”.

RPC + https

Client software access via RPC using encrypted tokens for each request to the server. And end-to-end encrypted communications over HTTPS.

DB Encoding

Biometric samples remain encoded in the DB with RSA cryptography and Triple DES algorithm.

No Reverse Engineering

It is not possible to reconstruct a fingerprint, iris, or facial image from the stored biometric pattern; it cannot be reverse-engineered.

Flexible Scalability

Deployment on the customer’s infrastructure on Linux servers, incorporating continuous monitoring of microservice status and detecting anomalies using Grafana and Tempo.

High Flexibility

Manages from small systems on a virtual server to large systems deployed across multiple servers.

Docker Deployment

Guarantees a stable and predictable execution environment. Facilitates deployment, administration, and scaling of microservices and web applications.

Advanced Load Balancing

Efficiently distributes traffic among the microservice instances on the different servers.

High Availability

Configurable to ensure continuous operation without service interruptions in the case of any server failure.
